JewishHoopStars.com Announces Launch of Jewish Basketball Hall of Fame Website

(Bethpage, NY): JewishPrideSportsHeroes LLC has announced the launch of its new website, jewishhoopstars.com.  The site, which contains descriptions and photographs of over thirty of the leading Jewish basketball players of the twentieth century, also features a trailer for The Jewish Basketball Hall of Fame DVD, Volume I of the Jewish Sports Legacy Series.  For visitors to the site who wish to own a copy of the DVD there is a shopping cart where they can purchase one.  In addition, the site contains a section detailing how synagogues and not-for-profits can utilize the DVD as a fundraiser for their organization.

"We are excited about both the website and the DVD." said Izzi Lifschutz, a member of the joint venture that produced the DVD.  Izzi, a one-time high scorer at Hebrew University of Jerusalem, is also an actor and film consultant who has several successful films to his credit, including" The Chosen,""Pi," and "Stranger Among Us." "People are not aware of what a big contribution Jews have made to sports," Izzi said proudly.  "That's why the jewishhoopstars.com website and the Jewish Basketball Hall of Fame DVD are full of the history of these amazing athletes."
